Warranty

Every piece of Ananda Soul jewellery is made with care and attention to detail. While we take great care in our craftsmanship, occasionally a piece may have an issue related to its original materials or workmanship.

Our warranty is intended to cover genuine manufacturing defects. If you feel there is something not quite right with your jewellery, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to take a look.

Warranty Coverage

Ananda Soul provides a six (6) month warranty from the date of purchase for manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

To help us understand the issue, we may ask you to provide your order details and clear photographs of the jewellery. In some cases, we may need the piece to be returned to us for further assessment.

If an issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect, Ananda Soul will, at our discretion, arrange an appropriate repair or replacement depending on the nature of the issue and the availability of the required materials.

What Is Considered a Manufacturing Defect?

Manufacturing defects are issues that arise from the original materials or workmanship of the piece, rather than from normal use or accidental damage.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include issues such as:

• A clasp or fastening that fails due to a manufacturing issue

• A chain or bracelet component that separates due to a manufacturing issue

• A stone becoming loose or falling out due to an issue with its original setting

• A structural issue caused by the original workmanship

• Other issues that our team determines to be related to the original manufacturing of the piece

Each case is assessed individually, as the cause of an issue is not always possible to determine from photographs alone.

What Our Warranty Does Not Cover

Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, changes that naturally occur with use, accidental damage, or damage resulting from improper care or handling.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Natural tarnishing or changes in colour over time

• Natural wear and fading of gold plating

• Scratches, dents, or surface marks caused by wear

• Kinks, stretching, or deformation caused by use or handling

• Damage caused by impact, accidents, excessive force, or stress on the jewellery

• Damage caused by improper use, mishandling, or neglect

• Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics, chlorine, salt water, or other substances

• Loss of the jewellery or individual components

• Damage resulting from attempts to repair, alter, or modify the jewellery outside of Ananda Soul

Please note that tarnishing and the natural wearing down of gold plating are not considered manufacturing defects. These are natural changes that can occur with regular wear and are therefore not covered under the warranty.

Repairs

Whenever possible, we repair the affected part rather than replacing the entire piece. The repair method will depend on the jewellery design and the nature of the issue.

For example, bracelet and necklace threads may be replaced without replacing the complete piece. Metalwork repairs depend on the location and extent of the damage, and the jewellery may need to be returned to us for assessment.

Gold-plated jewellery may require a new round of plating after a repair. If replating is needed, we will let you know before proceeding.

Replating

Gold plating naturally wears down over time with regular use. This is not considered a manufacturing defect, but we are happy to offer a replating service to help refresh your jewellery.

Our jewellery is replated using 22K gold, with a plating depth of approximately 1.5–2.5 microns.

Replating fees are not fixed, as the cost can vary depending on the jewellery piece, its condition, and the work required. To give you the correct price, we first need to assess the piece.

Simply send us a few clear photos of your jewellery through our Contact Us page. Our team will review the piece and confirm the available service and final fee, usually within 3–4 working days.

We will always confirm the cost with you before proceeding with any paid replating service.

Repairs Outside the Warranty Period

If your jewellery needs attention after the six (6) month warranty period, or if the issue is not covered by the warranty, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

We will do our best to find a suitable and fairly priced solution where a repair or service is possible. The availability and cost will depend on the jewellery piece, its condition, and the work required.

Any costs associated with repairs or services that are outside the warranty coverage will generally be the responsibility of the customer. We will always discuss the available options and applicable costs with you before proceeding.

Discontinued Items

Sales of discontinued items are final and are not eligible for return or replacement.

We may still be able to assist with repairs or servicing where the necessary materials and components are available. As discontinued designs may no longer have their original materials or components in production, repair options can sometimes be limited.

If you have a discontinued piece that needs some care, please contact us and we will be happy to see what options may be available for you.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for repairs, replating, or other services are generally the responsibility of the customer.

However, if an issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect, we are happy to discuss the shipping arrangements with you on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that every piece is checked by our team before it leaves Ananda Soul. We take care to ensure your jewellery is in good condition before it is shipped, but if something appears to have gone wrong during production or before it reached you, please let us know and we will be happy to look into it.

How to Contact Us

If you have any questions about your jewellery, warranty, repairs, or replating, please reach out to us through our Contact Us page.

Please include your order number and a few clear photographs of the piece where possible. This helps our team understand the issue and, where applicable, check with our production team before confirming the best service option and cost.

We’re always happy to take a look and help you find the best way to care for your Ananda Soul piece.
