Held to Hold Collection:
Jewelry for Life’s Passages and the Cycles of Becoming
Every birth, whether that is of a child,
a dream, or a new self, marks a threshold.
A place where we are being asked
to surrender, to trust, and to be held
as we step into the unknown.

Our new collection, Held to Hold, is inspired by this sacred passage: birth as divine initiation.
Guided by the archetype of Demeter, goddess of cycles and nourishment, and by gemstones of nurture, protection, and renewal, each piece is a talisman reminding us that we are always carried through life’s thresholds: we are held, to hold.
The Story of Demeter
Demeter, goddess of the harvest, the womb, and the turning of seasons, embodies the eternal rhythm of life, death, and rebirth. Her myth tells of love and loss: her daughter Persephone, seized into the underworld, leaves the earth barren with her absence. Demeter’s grief becomes winter itself, until their reunion births spring again.
But beyond the cycles of agriculture, Demeter represents the archetypal Mother, who tends, who holds, who ensures that endings are never final. She reminds us that every seed must fall into darkness before it rises, that every descent carries within it the promise of ascent.
In Held to Hold, we call on Demeter as guardian of thresholds, the liminal space after harvest, after birth, after loss, where we are asked to trust in renewal. Like seeds carried in the palm of her hand, these jewels are crafted as reminders that we are not alone in these passages. We are held by Mother, by Earth, by cycles greater than ourselves – and in how we are being held, we learn how to hold.
Why Held to Hold
The name of this collection, Held to Hold, arises from the deepest truth of birth and transformation: we can only learn to hold when we ourselves have been held.
Held to Hold speaks to the circle of care that surrounds every act of becoming: the hands that steady us, the unseen presence that anchors us, the threads of connection that weave us back to life.
Every threshold – whether the birth of a child, the emergence of a new self, or the quiet turning of seasons – asks us to surrender into something larger than ourselves, an act that asks for trust in our own strength. In those moments, it is the presence of others, of earth, of unseen hands, that initiate us: mothers, sisters, ancestors, community, and the earth itself.
To be held is to be reminded that we are safe enough to soften, to break open, to become.
From that place of being held, something new arises: the capacity to extend the same holding outward. To nurture, to protect, to witness others as they cross their own thresholds.
This is the circle at the heart of Held to Hold: love as sanctuary, love as responsibility. To wear these pieces is to remember that we are part of an unbroken continuum, held by life, by community, by Mother, so that we, too, may hold.

Our new pieces
Mother of Seasons
The Mother of Seasons pieces honor Demeter’s eternal embrace – she who turns the wheel of life, weaving winter into spring, summer into fall. Its flowing lines echo rivers and wheat, symbols of her fields. Circular motifs recall the womb: the place of holding, of seeding, of continuity.
This piece is a reminder that nothing is ever lost; it only changes form. Just as Demeter receives Persephone back each spring, so too do we receive ourselves anew after every descent.
A talisman of trust in the cycles of change, the Mother of Seasons carries the message that the Mother holds us through every shift, every passage, every season of our becoming.
Wild Treasures
Wild Treasures celebrates the raw bounty of the earth – Demeter’s untamed abundance. Its design evokes sprouting seeds and vines, a reminder that wildness is fertile ground for new beginnings.
Life’s treasures are not always polished; they are messy, unpredictable, and alive. This piece honors that truth. It is a call to reclaim the unkempt, the unmeasured, the places where beauty bursts forth not because it is tamed, but because it is free.
Worn as a talisman, Wild Treasures invites us to trust our instincts, to gather life’s unexpected gifts, and to remember that in wildness lies intelligence, fertility, and joy. Like the goddess of harvest herself, it whispers: the earth provides, and you are already abundant.
Held to Hold
The namesake piece of the collection, Held to Hold is about reciprocity: the truth that to be held is also to learn how to hold. Its flowing shapes mirror the embrace of mother and child, of lover and beloved, of earth and seed.
Held to Hold celebrates the threshold of creation, birth of children, dreams, and futures. It honors that all passages are both solitary and shared, reminding us we are held by community, by love, by the eternal web.
This design is the heart of the collection’s message: that we are carried through thresholds not so we may cling, but so we may pass on the holding. It is an initiation into the cycle of nurture, receiving, resting, and in turn, becoming the one who holds for others.
Worn close, Held to Hold becomes a reminder that tenderness is strength, that being carried is part of becoming, and that love is both gift and responsibility. It is a circle, a continuum, a womb made visible in gold.
Cradle of Worlds
The Cradle of Worlds ring evokes the womb – a vessel of both endings and beginnings, where darkness is not absence but fertile mystery. Its spirals and rounded lines mirror seeds carried in the soil and stars cupped in the cosmos.
This piece honors the archetype of the Mother as the one who holds all worlds: the earth itself, the turning seasons, the unborn potential within every being. In wearing it, we are reminded that we, too, carry universes inside us, visions, stories, lives yet to be born.
Like Demeter cradling Persephone’s absence until her return, the Cradle of Worlds is a talisman of trust in the unseen. It calls us to rest in the mystery, to honor what is gestating in silence, and to know that life is always cradled, even when we cannot yet see its shape.
Resting Heart
Our Resting Heart design cradles a soft green Prehnite – the “healer’s stone.” Prehnite embodies restoration, the tender phase after endings, after birth, after harvest. Just as fields must lie fallow to renew their strength, so too must we.
The stone’s gentle glow recalls morning light through leaves or still water at dawn. It offers sanctuary for the nervous system, easing restlessness and deepening trust. In mythic language, it is the place Demeter retreats after loss – the quiet between seasons, where soil, body, and spirit knit themselves whole again.
The Resting Heart is more than adornment; it is a talisman for replenishment. It whispers: you are allowed to rest, to soften, to be held. In its embrace, recovery becomes not just possible, but sacred.
Companion of Passage
Every threshold needs a companion. The Companion of Passage pieces were created as that ally, a piece to steady you when life unravels and to celebrate with you when new chapters bloom.
Its design features delicate details, reminiscent of rivers and vines, guiding you through transition with quiet strength. Like the pomegranate Persephone carried back from the underworld, the Vesuvianite, too, is a seed of remembrance: that every descent holds its ascent.
Companion of Passage is for moments when you are stepping into the unknown – leaving behind what no longer fits and carrying only what matters. It whispers: you are not walking alone.
